How to order personalised merchandise for the first time (without surprises)

If you’ve never ordered personalised merchandise, the process can feel daunting: techniques with unfamiliar names, logo formats, minimum quantities, timelines… This guide walks you through an order from start to finish, showing you what you need to prepare and what to expect at each stage. Spoiler: it’s simpler than it seems.

Step 1: choose the product with data, not blindly

In our catalogue each product sheet shows the price per quantity bracket, the material with its certification, the available marking techniques and the estimated delivery date calculated using real stock. It’s deliberate: we want you to be able to compare without calling anyone.

Two criteria that help you get it right first time: choose something your recipient will actually use (a bottle, a notebook, a bag) and prioritise certified materials — in sustainable materials we explain what’s behind each one.

Step 2: the logo — what we need and what happens if you don’t have it

The ideal format is a vector file (AI, EPS, PDF or SVG): it scales to any size without losing sharpness. Only got the logo as a JPG or PNG downloaded from the web? No problem: we’ll vectorise it for you — free of charge on orders over €1,000, and for €30 on orders below that amount. Step 3: the marking technique, one sentence each

You don’t need to be an expert, because we advise you with every order, but it helps to know what exists: screen printing is the gold standard for high-volume runs with few-colour logos; tampon printing solves small or curved surfaces like pens; laser engraving marks without ink on bamboo, wood or steel and is the most durable finish; embroidery is the standard for quality textiles; and digital printing reproduces full-colour designs. Step 4: quantities and price

We work from 25 units — you don’t need to order 500 to access personalisation. The price drops by bracket: the full table is on each product sheet, with marking included in the price you see. Shipping to mainland UK is free from €150 order value.

Step 5: the mockup — you’ll see the result before manufacturing

Once the order is confirmed, within 24 hours we send you a free mockup: a simulation of the product with your logo applied, at actual size and position. Nothing goes into production until you approve it. If something doesn’t convince you — logo size, position, colour — it’s adjusted before manufacturing, not after.

Step 6: payment and timelines

Payment is upfront, as is standard for personalised products (once marked with your logo, it can’t be resold). You can pay by bank transfer — we confirm it on the same working day and start production — or by card. The estimated delivery date is shown on the product sheet before you buy and we confirm it with your order; shipping details, in shipping and delivery timelines.
