As a practical rule: if the bottle is metal and you’re looking for a subtle, durable finish, laser engraving is the best investment; if your logo has multiple colours or you want it to stand out, screen printing or UV printing will deliver better results.
There is no «best» bottle, only the most appropriate one for each objective. If it’s a welcome gift that you want to last for years and reinforce your brand image, it’s worth investing in stainless steel. For a fair or event with hundreds of units and a contained budget, recycled aluminium or rPET will do the job perfectly. And if the gift is aimed at clients or management, glass or steel with laser engraving conveys the care you’re looking for. In all cases, always ask for certification of the material (GRS for recycled, BPA-free for Tritan) to back up the environmental argument without any risk of greenwashing.
A reusable bottle is only sustainable if it’s used for a long time, and that depends on maintenance. Double-walled steel bottles shouldn’t be put in the microwave and, unless otherwise indicated, it’s best to hand wash them to protect the thermal insulation. Tritan and rPET bottles are usually dishwasher safe. A good tip when giving as a gift: include the bottle with a brief care card. This extends the actual lifespan of the product and, with it, the number of times your logo is seen.
