The pen is still the most handed-out promotional item in the world for a simple reason: it changes hands most often. It gets lent, left on a desk and ends up writing for someone who never heard of your brand. At Greenly we have replaced plastic with materials that have a story: 153 models in bamboo, recycled card, wheat straw — the stalk left over after the grain harvest —, wood and recycled aluminium, including multifunction ones with a touchscreen stylus, screwdriver, spirit level or ruler. Pad printing is the standard technique for price and precision on a curved surface; laser engraving leaves a permanent, elegant finish on bamboo and wood, and digital printing reproduces full-colour designs. Personalisation is included in the price from the very first unit.
