Choosing an eco product is only half the journey. The personalisation technique matters too: solvent-based inks, laminates and adhesives can turn a sustainable product into one that no longer is.
The most sustainable. No inks, no chemical residue. The laser marks the material directly. Permanent and elegant results. Ideal for wood, bamboo, metal and cork.
Traditional screen printing uses solvent-based inks. The eco alternative uses water-based inks, equally resistant but without volatile organic compounds. Ideal for textiles and bags.
Zero chemicals: thread on fabric. The most premium and durable result for textiles. More expensive per unit but the finish is unmatched on caps, polo shirts and rucksacks.
Ink transfer through heat. Full colour without limits. Ideal for recycled polyester and technical materials. Sublimation inks are water-based.
The most versatile technique. Allows complex designs on almost any surface. Ideal for small orders where each item is different.
A quick rule to get it right:
The simplest techniques (tampography, single-colour screen printing) are the most economical and quickest. Embroidery and sublimation, being more labour-intensive, increase costs and extend the timescale somewhat. As a reference, most personalised orders are delivered within 12 to 15 working days from mockup approval. If you have any doubts, tell us the product and logo and we’ll recommend the combination with the best value for money.
Not sure which technique to choose? Our team will advise you without obligation. Request a quote specifying the product and we’ll recommend the best option.
