Organic cotton (GOTS)

Jute

Natural fibre with rapid growth that requires no pesticides. Rustic and premium appearance. Ideal for shopping bags and gift packaging. Very durable.

rPET (recycled polyester)

Made from recycled plastic bottles. Lightweight, water-resistant, vibrant colours. GRS certified. Ideal for rucksacks and sports bags.

Which weight should you choose?

• 100-140 g/m²: Lightweight bag, for fairs and events
• 140-180 g/m²: Daily use, good durability
• 180-280 g/m²: Premium, high-quality tote bag

Which personalisation technique for bags?

The right technique depends on the fabric and design. Screen printing with water-based inks is the most common and economical option for cotton, ideal for logos with one to three flat colours. For full-colour or photographic designs, digital transfer performs better. And if you’re looking for a premium finish on jute or thick canvas, embroidery adds texture and durability. Requesting a mockup before production saves you surprises: the same logo looks different on natural cotton than on rPET.

How to choose your bag according to use

If it’s for a fair or event with many units, a lightweight bag of 100-140 g/m² works and fits the budget. For a brand gift that you want to last and be reused, go for a weight of 180 g/m² or more. And if the aim is sustainable packaging for another gift, jute brings that premium and artisanal touch. In all cases, demand certification of the material (GOTS for organic, GRS for recycled) to support your environmental claim.
