Of all the merchandise that passes through our hands, the mug has the best cost per day of use. A tote bag gets put away and a pen gets lost, but the breakfast mug sticks around for years. Here are the real prices, unrounded and with no «contact us for a quote».
The material, almost entirely. The marking technique follows from it: each material takes some techniques and not others, and that decides what you can put on it.
The most affordable option and the one most often ordered for events. Light, unbreakable and takes flat-colour screen printing. A 300 ml recycled PP mug works out at €2.10 per unit for 100, with your one-colour logo already included.
This is the one people leave on their desk. It has weight, it feels solid and it does not look like merchandise. Versions with a cork base are around €2.90 for 100 units. If the gift is meant to last on a desk, this is the material.
Handles thermal shock and looks good on a meeting table. With a cork lid and laser engraving, about €3.03 for 100 units. Laser on glass gives a very clean frosted finish, but it only comes in one colour: the material’s own.
A different price bracket — €6.63 to €7.48 for 100 units — and a different kind of gift. Steel travel mugs get used daily for years, so the cost per use ends up the lowest of all, even if the day-one invoice is the highest.

On recycled PP and ceramic the norm is screen printing: direct ink, flat colours, very good definition on one- or two-colour logos. On steel and glass we use laser engraving, which is not ink but a permanent mark: it will not wash off in the dishwasher, but it only reproduces one tone.
If your logo has gradients or many colours, ask us before choosing the material: some take a full-colour digital option and some do not.
A €2.90 ceramic mug someone uses every morning for three years costs less than a third of a cent per day. Against almost any other advertising medium, there is no contest.
So when someone asks us whether to go for the €2.10 option or the €2.90 one, we nearly always say the same thing: the difference is 80 cents per person, and it decides whether the gift stays on the desk or ends up in a drawer.
Whether it is dishwasher safe. Not all of them are, and a mug whose print fades after three weeks is worse than no gift at all. We state it on every product page.
The capacity. 300 ml is a normal coffee mug; 350-400 ml is already on the large side. For an office breakfast, aim high.
The colour of the mug. A light ink on a dark mug needs a second pass, and that counts as two colours in the price.
